Sunday – 24/06/2018 – Mauerpark – Shooting street and performance

This is a bring a camera and shoot event.

Experience Berlin’s best secondhand market first-hand.

The “Wall Park” derives its name from the fact that it’s situated on what was part of the death strip separating East and West Berlin during the cold war.

It’s now one of the most popular green spaces in the city among it’s younger residents.

A thirty metre section of the wall still exists there as a place for graffiti artists to display their work, and a stone amphitheater serves as an impromptu karaoke called the Bear Pit.

A popular flea market is held there every Sunday, offering anything and everything from furniture, old vinyl records, antiques, general bric-a-brac, and international culinary delicacies to both locals and tourists.

With relatively large numbers of street artists present in both the park and in front of the market entrance the photo opportunities are both varied and plentiful.
