27/01/2018 – Photo Theme: One Million Years B.C.
A trip back in time to the dinosaur era with a visit to the Naturkundemuseum.
This is a practical photography event, so bring a camera, anything will do: digital, analog, even an old iPhone.
The aim of this event is to capture a series of 4-6 photos with which a story is told about something concerning either the theme or the location visited.
Event host: Andrew James Kirkwood
Location: Museum für Naturkunde Berlin
RSPVing to this event requires advance payment and includes admission to the museum: €8
This recent film from the BBC shows why a visit to this museum could be so interesting, this exact T.Rex is on display here and should provide some very interesting photo opportunities.
And anyone wishing to see what life was like back then on planet earth, this short clip gives a very good impression:
I’ve been in contact with the museum and taking photos for private use is allowed, but no using flash or tripod, and no climbing over the barriers to get a better shot.
